It's a day late but every Sunday I am planning on summarizing how the previous week's studying has gone. Last week was my first official week of "THE FINAL PUSH". However, that push will last 5 months, so don't think I'm cramming. I spent at leat 1:15 minutes studying last week and spent most of my time on physics Chemistry and Verbal Reasoning. Over the next couple weeks I hope to gain a better understanding of what I need to work on and develop a plan to improve my weaknesses. The practice test I'm taking this Saturday should help clarify the direction my future studying should take. This will be the first practice MCAT I've taken that is actually an old real MCAT. The two I've previously taken have been from an MCAT prep book company, so I am pretty excited about it.
In other news Boise State beat TCU tonight which is pretty cool since they were the underdogs. However, I won't using that line of thinking in picking my team for the Nat. Championship game. ROLL TIDE.
Ok, well school starts back tomorrow so I need to go to bed.
Goodnight.

Ever feel like you don't know what to do with your life? Not sure you could choose one career for the rest of your life? Well that's exactly how I felt for a long time. In fact my dream of becoming a physician did not really begin until two years ago when my wife was already 3 months pregnant. It was towards the end of my graduate coursework that I realized I wanted to pursue a career as a medical doctor. I began this blog about one year before I was accepted and sparsley documented my MCAT prep and addmissions process. Now that I am in I will be recording how well (or not so well at times) I handle the rigors of being a husband, father, and medical student. My intention is to show that one can have a family and hobbies and still be a successful medical student. I hope this blog will be an inspiration to others taking a non traditional path to their career and also be a little entertaining.
